Does anyone 'in the know' know when the BBFC are likely to reach a decision..?

I agree that although Rick's artwork is excellent it does not reflect that it is an Argento movie and to the general player, comes across as more of a softcore exploitation flick, than the second part of the three mothers trilogy.

A good point taken.

I reiterate i have no problem with the artwork's actual quality or concept (nice ass!). I just feel the idea illustrated tells you little or nothing about Inferno itself. Bar the 'underwater room' influence.

I like the artwork, but sadly I have not seen the film yet so I can't see the point of views from those who don't like it. But if there is a scene in the film which resembles the art then it works for me.

How strongly did you pressure on them for an uncut release and was there any evidence that you could provide to keep the much discussed scenes with the animals in the film and on the DVD?

If the BBFC suspect deliberate animal cruelty was involved in the making of the film then they'd require strong & solid evidence to ensure them that it wasn't. Often this can't be provided.

Well, let's hope they reach the same conclusion as us - that it's faked. If not...oh well...c'est la vie. Might make me think twice about picking it up as I already have it on DVD uncut.
