Can members please stick to the topic of the Arrow disc and not the camera Obscura disc?

That´s no excuse to erase posts we spent our time writing about. The Anchor Bay/Blue Underground has been compared countless times and I don´t see you saying nothing regarding that. OK, let´s concentrate on the Arrow disk. Some pages back I asked some simple questions regarding some technical specs but none of them were answered. At the end of the day, it´s our money... Don´t get mad, it´s just an opinion. |

Expect this latter cut to be waived on its next submission. It was silly of the BBFC to have cut it in the first place.

I'm sure we'll be able to compare releases when they are both available, a la City of the Living Dead. |

Yes it is your money and 30 euros for another edition of the film merely for five seconds of cat-eating-mouse is, well, crazy. I think what Reaps may, understandably, be referring to is the way Camera Obscura have been "spamming" virtually every thread on the net about Arrow's Inferno over the past 24 hours with the same message (and I still reckon Arrow have the better package). However, I'm all for people making up their own minds incidently - so good luck to the foreign releasers. |

Did he try to sign the actual disc or just the cover? It seems a bit presumptuous either way -- and I'm a fan of his!

Well we all know what major role he played in the success of The Exorcist upon it's rellease, when he was just 10 years old. Ha ha. Ego... growing... by... the... second...

I'm a bit like Kermode-lite as I think The Exorcist is the greatest horror movie ever made and have watched it more times than I can remember since those watching at the cinema aged (I think) 17. I've tried to collect everything there is to buy about the film -- including Kermode's excellent BFI companion -- but sadly don't operate in the right circles to spend time with William Friedkin and William Peter Blatty. Anyway, back on topic, where that you put Inferno in Argento's oeuvre? I'd have it below Suspiria but on a par with things like Four Flies on Grey Velvet and Opera.
