Very good idea, i was there by myself and quite shy to start talking to folk i don't know lol. Maybe tht would help jumpstart some banter tho! C

Thanks for posting these Phill!

Hopefully it shows folks how friendly these events are. So glad you got a picture of the goat "incident" too. All going to plan that will be immortalised on the new DVD!

And doesn't Francesca still look great? Such a lovely woman and an incredible guest. People seemed really thrilled to see her!!

Really?! Ha ha, I was kidding to Dracucarr that you should get the goat in for a DVD commentary. I'll leave that there as... well, least said, soonest mended.

Full marks to Calum, Naomi, Nick & co for another superb GFT event, each one has been better than the last. Francesca, Jonathan, and Sergio (who laughed because I asked him to sign the cover for Fist of Steel) were excellent guests.

I'll probably come up for Frightfest.

Following my first viewing of Island of Death on Sunday I think that the Arrow Release needs 2 things, firstly a soundtrack CD included but more importantly a sing-along-a-version so we can sing that annoying song along with the film!

Get the Sword!

This is a great idea. It'd be good to make sure that people who aren't on here are encouraged to come and have a chat too, so more people can find out about the forum. I felt quite alienated when there was all the talk on the forum pre-event with everyone saying where they were meeting, which pub etc as I didn't know anyone and hadn't been to a GFT event before! Thought I'd found myself on a private thread or something!

As long as newbies are encouraged as much as possible I reckon it'd be a great way to meet new people, network and shoot the breeze about our favourite films!
