Stood out from a drab looking horror section in HMV mate.

Arrow's idea of Rick's eyecatching covers works a treat.

Picked up my copy of Inferno last week after being very impressed with the City of the Living Dead release(my first Cult Labs/Arrow BD purchase)

Finally got around to watching it earlier this evening and unfortunately I have to report I am not so impressed with this one compared to City on the image quality front. I have noticed a fair few times that the image seems to suffer from a ghosting/after image effect a fair bit during pans/camera movement, especially when there are a lot of strong pattens and strong colours and contrasts.

Have not gotten around to looking at the extras yet, so hopefully they will bring some good balance into things again..

This could possibly also be caused by your tv...do you have a lcd one?
Of course I'm just guessing here since I've never watched the new blu.

Got it and watched it over the last two nights. Very good image, for the most part, definitely the best INFERNO has ever looked at home. But I saw the ghosting and a little smearing in a few spots during the movie. I can live with it, but the ghosting was similar to the issue I saw on the DAWN OF THE DEAD blu-ray (which I was told was due to the original master having DNR applied and likely causing the ghosting -- which was much worse than what I saw with INFERNO). Pleased with what I saw otherwise. Thanks, folks.

Sounds like the same issues I had. To much DNR. Didnt have any such complaints with City so I know its not my player/TV.

Can't say I noticed any ghosting myself.

It's sort of like trailing while tripping on acid... Or so I've been told. A couple of scenes. Very similar to the ghosting during the beginning of DAWN OF THE DEAD (the raid on the public housing, with the smoke bombs).
