Ha. Nothing like acid, mate. But I get what you mean, although I'd say it was more like digital smearing, what you're referring to. I'm not referring to Inferno though, as I haven't watched it on Blu-ray yet.

The only Blu-ray I've had that suffered from this was Optimum's UK Blu-ray of Near Dark, which didn't look too good, to be honest. Lots of this ghosting/digital smearing that's being referred to.

Can people confirm if they see this ghosting what display device they are using and it's size please?

I have a 42" Samsung 1080P LCD and play my blu rays on a PS3. I watched the Inferno blu for the second time last night, can't say I noticed it myself.

Know I'm a bit late coming into this but I have to say I thought the Inferno BD was stunning. Didn't notice any problems with sound or picture. Neither me nor Mr. Sarah@Cult Labs had seen it before and we both loved it - particularly the crazy cat scene with the hilarious hand chucking the cats.

This just arrived at my doorstep. I love that new blu-ray smell. Packaging is excellent. I'll pop it in later to see the extra's, saw the movie recently so I'll postpone that till later.

There's a smell? I'm going to go sniff some BDs to check...
