Thanks for the info and i can wait for the standard four-sleeve DVD set. After all, i already have Arrow's dominant deluxe BR SD and HD releases so there's no hurry for the less-strikingly-packaged-but-still-attractive-to-look-at four-sleeve DVD variant.

I have just got this in the current Arrow films sale. However, the copy delivered did not come in a slip case, nor did it contain:

Blu-ray:

THIS AMAZING EDITION CONTAINS:
- 32 page comic Battle Royale: Parent's Day An all-new exclusive comic! Two children find out ahead of time that their class is to be the latest selection for the lethal Battle Royale program. Instead of arriving at school, they choose to run - but will they survive?
- Collector’s booklet by Tom Mes, author of ‘The Midnight Eye Guide to New Japanese Film’ illustrated with stills, artwork and a printed interview with director Kinji Fukasaku
- Fold-out reversible poster of original artwork
Were these only available on the initial release, or have I been sent an incomplete copy?

If it was one of the limited edition sets then it should have come with a slipcase and everything inside, including the postcards – one of which is numbered.

I'd send an e-mail to the Arrow store (info@arrowfilms.co.uk or just reply to your order confirmation) and query the product.

How many discs? They show a 3 disc slipcase edition, 3 disc standard blu-ray, and a 1 disc edition.

I have got the 3 disc version - 2xBlu-ray, 1xDVD

OK - that explains why there was no slip case. I ordered the standard edition, but should it have had the comics, booklets and posters?

I may be wrong, but I think those only came with the limited edition release.

According to the site, just a booklet written by Tom Mes.

I certainly don't have a booklet, so it looks like I will have to chase that up, then!

Thanks for the replies and information guys x

Can anyone confirm that the DVD version from the original post was actually released and if possible can someone post a list of all Arrow Battle Royale Releases both Blu-ray & DVD.
