Same here. Thinking about it, a Blu-ray of the 'trilogy' wouldn't go amiss but this release will do very nicely in the meantime.

I agree and while i'd definitely invest in an HD release of Herbert West's initial outing i'd give Bride on BR a miss as i own the old U.S. sp. ed. DVD. Beyond has never appealed to me so i've always gave this third effort a wide berth.

You should have got hold of the UK Mosaic Entertainment DVD, it's fully uncut.I'd also love to see a Blu-ray of Stuart Gordon's classic Re-Animator, the Miskatonic massacre climax would look great in hi-def!

I wrote AB about a RE-ANIMATOR blu-ray, but was told it wasn't planned. Now that AB's Jodorowsky flicks are being blu'd up, I'm more hopeful they'll start digging into their catalog later this year.

Faust: Love of the Damned (2001) - directed by Brian Yuzna
Arachnid (2001) - directed by Jack Sholder
Dagon (2001) - directed by Stuart Gordon
Darkness (2002) - directed by Jaume Balagueró
Beyond Re-Animator (2003) - directed by Brian Yuzna
Romasanta (2004) - directed by Francisco Plaza
Rottweiler (2004) - directed by Brian Yuzna
The Nun (2005) - directed by Luis De La Madrid
Beneath Still Waters (2006) - directed by Brian Yuzna

As there are five films that aren't in this box set, there are sufficient titles for another one. Hopefully, sales will be good enough to persuade both FF and Arrow that releasing a second box set would be worth their while.
DAGON would be a good one. The OOP US DVD had two commentary tracks. DARKNESS was only so-so. THE NUN and BENEATH STILL WATERS both sucked.

I haven't seen the others, but I think someone gave me a disc of ARACHNID.

I was hoping for a Bride Of Re-Animator release much like the Pioneer release with cut and uncut versions.

Also what about releasing Cronenberg's Shivers, Rabid, and The Brood?

That's probably a discussion for another thread, and one that I'm fully in favour of being a massive fan of David Cronenberg's work. Meanwhile, could we please keep this one for Beyond Re-Animator and perhaps the other two Re-Animator films.

Is it known yet whether Arrow's edition of Beyond Re-Animator will feature the cut R rated version or the uncut, unrated version (as featured on the Mosaic Entertainment DVD)?

It will feature the uncut version as I believe the R rated cut only applies to some American releases and every other UK release has been the uncut version.
