I'm afraid that due to overly politicaly correct parents I only own a limited number of Arrow Video (And Arrowdrome) Blu Ray's and DVD's. I.e. one's that don't have an 18 rating.
I'll post a picture later, but here's a list for now.
AV Blu Ray's:
The Bird with the Crystel Plumege
The cat'o'nine Tails (My first ever one)

AD DVD's:
McBain

My parents went through that phase. Only for about 2 weeks mind you. I think already having owned Starship Troopers, Die Hard and the likes at the time they had missed the boat a bit. I wonder what they'd think of my film collection now though, they really have no idea! Hell, I can barely imagine what I'll have in a year's time.

Watched Ashes & Diamonds this morning - really fantastic.

I was seeing the old X films when I was 14 and I know the films shown at my local cinema were not as violent, though some still caused controversy, never did me any harm

To be honest I have to respect them for bringing me up to be law abiding. At least they will let me buy movies that have been reclassified 15 even if the box says other wise. Like the Alien Anthology and Escape from the Bronx.

You're right - it's good to see a sensible young chap like you in here!

There are quite a few very nice movies below an 18 rating. And besides - everything at the proper time. The BBFC's classifications may not always be correct, but in general they don't give movies an 18 rating without a cause.

I'm totally against any form of censorship or even bans, but I thoroughly support movie classification!

Greetings!

I agree with that, but I think the BBFC are way off a lot of the time. Young Guns or Enter the Dragon an 18, but Cabin Fever or House of Wax a 15? The horrors of Paris Hilton's acting alone makes that an 18, surely?
