Well....okey then

The subs are tiny, and you get much, MUCH better picture quality. If that isn´t important to you, then why did you get a BD player at all?
I just won't get a BD that has forced subs, just like I wont, with very few exceptions, buy a UK BD/dvd that has Irish certificates on the cover. I wouldn't buy a dvd with forced subs either, nor would I have bought a VHS with them. That's my personal preference.

I wouldent buy a blu-ray with forced subs either. I spent years watching dutch vhs bootlegs of movies with forced subs, long enough to know it would bug the hell out of me.

No I'll wait untill someone finds out where the french print was sourced from and releases it elswhere minus subs and in the meantime stick to the arrow disc, or perhaps just keep my old anchor bay us disc.

Its all personal preference at the end of the day and i know the french subs will distract me and annoy me. I dont think theres any reason for them being forced either aside from frenchness!

The subs are forced only on my PS3.
On my computer and on my living room player I can remove the subs.
It´s a matter of the player software in question.
With the passing of the time more players can do this.

You seem to be awfully determined to make people buy the french edition, can't you just accept that people do actually like the Arrow version?
Writting something in capital means shouting...
Nothing wrong with contradition... we all do that.

I´m not determine to do nothing... you just understand it that way.
It´s a matter letting people know that Arrow´s version is not the only one.
I have almost all Arrow´s editions so far... even bought the Tenebre on DVD for the extras. I can accept that people actually like the Arrow version on the grounds that the majority of them don´t know that another version exists or if they do they don´t know what´s it like.

Nobody likes a double negative

And as I've said before, since Pulp Fiction I'd rather punch myself in the nuts then spend money on a BD that's going to annoy me.

That really depends from what country i´m writting doesn´t it???
In my country we have a spelling agreement where the "silent" C´s are no longer used in writting... so, I don´t see any error there.

Also, I though this was a movie forum and not an english class...

Colors or Colours???!!!

Just make sure you pronounce a word correctly next time, especially when you use it more than once and with such enthusiasm. Otherwise you'll have to accept some jovial joke, I'm afraid.

Greetings!

PS: No offense and class dismissed.

What country doesn't pronounce the second c in "contradiction"?

Edit: genuinely interested, by the way, not having a dig.
Baseball Fury and sjconstable like this.
