WELL SAID!
to me, my fave horror TENEBRE would be ruined by forced subs
unwatchable
we all know the French are notorious for this on most of their dvds
I have PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE, MS. 45, RESSURECTED amongst others that do not have the forced subs, but shame about the others

Ok.. I read as much as I could, and just don't have time to scan every comment. Sooooooo. I'm hoping someone here is any a good mood today!

Question:

Why are the extras not playable on my U.S. BRD player? Others I've purchased have been. The movie plays, that's it.

I'm not nagging, or complaining.

I just have a question.

If the answer is : They`re no in HD. Then. Anyone wanna buy a copy? Mint shape.

Thank you very much vinncent.

=/ Sucks for me. Oh well, I'll hit up amazon with it for sell. I bought it for the extras. My fault though. I was misinformed. I read a early review that said all extras were in 1080p. Obviously, that's not the case. I don't have the money for region free converting brd players. I was hoping with the dawn of BR that wouldn't be an issue, as it clearly doesn't have to be.

Thanks again!

Hmm, that's really frustrating. After I discovered that I couldn't play the extra's on my "City of the living dead" Blu because of the 1080I encoding, I'm pretty certain that Arrow had said they would be making sure all the extra's were at 1080p in the future and sure enough, they are on my brilliant "Inferno" release so I assumed this practice was here to stay. Any reason they reverted back to 1080I? Surely it misses the point of making the discs region free in the first place.
