What's this about the extras not playing on Sony players though? This doesn't sound good at all...
I believe it's only US ones, as I don't think they can handle the 'upspeed' to a PAL signal. Some of the arrow extra's are in 1080i/50hz, which is a PAL signal (divisible by 5) as opposed to an NTSC one (divisible by 4).

Or something like that. If you're UK/Euro based, shouldn't be any issues.

Yeah, US Sony players suck. I just checked The Funhouse on my US Sony blu-ray player and only the trailer and stills gallery play.

I'm pretty sure there won't be any bad reviews of The Funhouse on BD.
I've owned various versions through the years, and this is just the best it's ever going to get!

I'll be gutted (not literally) if it doesn't arrive in the morning. On a side note watched Obsession tonight and it was fantastic

Waiting for a night that me and the wife are not dead tired from work and remodeling the house to put this on. Might have to take it over to a friends house to check out the extras. Or maybe buy a cheap Blu-Ray player for at work.

It's a shame that some US players, including the PS3 can't handle 1080i/50Hz content. I think you'll be suitably impressed with the quality of the film though. I saw it in June at the Glasgow Film Theater and knew from seeing the print that the blu-ray would look just as spectacular....and it did.

Yeah, it's hard not to order an all region Blu-ray player to enjoy all the Arrow special features. I'm sure everyone here is in the same boat as me as far as having at least two different DVD players and or BluRay and needing to buy umpteen copies of certain films to appreciate all the features. But, enjoying this classic in high def will do just fine, for now. Great to hear the quality is outstanding.
