Don't think so, It's just a case of Arrow re-issuing one of their old catalogue titles.

It doesn't seem like anyone is really interested in issuing Naschy's stuff in the UK, which is a real shame. Or maybe they are but don't think they'd sell enough copies. The only other titles lucky enough to get released on dvd over here are DR JEKYLL VS THE WOLFMAN and WEREWOLF SHADOW.

I have no idea which of his films are popular in the UK as I've only seen two: the American Blu-ray double pack of Night of the Werewolf and Vengeance of the Zombies. I'd like to see more, probably starting with The Man with the Severed Head!

Yes, it is a shame that the UK market seems to be pretty Naschy absent.

There is such an extensive catalogue of great Naschy films just waiting to be released on DVD - let's hope a UK distributor decide to release some of them in the near future!

Perhaps gonna see re-releases of the classic ZOMIE LAKE and OASIS OF THE ZOMBIES?

Have you been looking through Arrow's back catalogue for ideas? There are loads of films on there which could do with being re-released in a stylish new cover.

Question: mainly concerning McBain, which can be picked up on either Hollywood DVD and Boulevard labels for les than 3.00, what makes this Arrowdrome worth the 9.99 price tag, beacause unless there is a new transfer that is wide screen with extras then this 'budget release' might be worth it otherwise wouldn't it make more sense to go with a cheaper release with the same picture and sound but with a worst cover. Can some explain this to me because all these so called budget releases are already available to me at cheaper prices. what Does Arrowdrome offer that these don't?

just to let you know too, that when i mean so called budget release, i mean 9.99 aint exactly budget is it. 5.99 is budget release, but hey love the white boxes.

I don't know about the picture quality or extra features but this does have a reversible sleeve and exclusive booklet. Furthermore, the £9.99 RRP is exactly that: recommended and, if you pre-order from arrowfilms.co.uk, the price of there is £6.99.

There are newly produced extra features on both Man with the Severed Head and McBain as well as new booklets - the extras are just not as extensive as the Arrow Video line.

Hope that answers your question. This range has been in the planning for a wee bit now and must say I love the covers!
