This was on the Horror Channel a few nights ago. I had it recording, but I think I'll delete it and pop my cherry with a prettier version.

Probably wise. The soundtrack on Horrors showing was hissy as hell.

I don't think horror and exploitation getting respect go well together. I love the old taglines on horror movies and guess Arrow trying to be retro uses them for that point. My favorite is Killer Klowns from Outer Space. 'In Space no one eats ice cream.' I also think horror, like metal music, has a in yer face aspect to it that says 'does what it says on the tin' I'd hate the taglines to be taken away. Its part of the charm. Many females like horror and laugh at these funny taglines. Its the artwork with T and A that puts many women off, cos they think its going to be a breast filled horror romp. I find modern horror boring when the artwork is a collection of atractive peoples faces, and the tagline is gone, replaced by FOUR STARS, EMPIRE. |
