Yeah COMMAND PERFORMANCE and THE KILLING MACHINE a.k.a. ICARUS (original title) are good harvest crops!

DIRECT CONTACT is forgettable.

The thing that has made me laugh about the R1 dvd/ blu-ray releases of Lundgren's recent movies, is that a few of the covers feature an image of him from his previous movie.

Indeed, the company Nu Image has always been making these advance artworks for pre-sales (before the movies are filmed) that they show at AFM, Berlin or Cannes film markets, and then distributors use them sometimes without even realizing they're using material from other titles (DIRECT CONTACT using a still from THE MECHANIK, COMMAND PERFORMANCE using a still from DIRECT CONTACT etc)...

In the case of the US editions, First Look Pictures was the releasing company and this company had just been bought by Nu Image/Millennium Films so no wonder they didn't want to bother spending money on new artworks...

That's too bad because if they paid a little more attention to marketing these films, they could probably make better sales. Especially in the case of COMMAND PERFORMANCE which was a higher-end and more original product than usual and they had great promotional stills to work with. Dolph Lundgren (who directed the picture) had to push them to make an official website with teaser trailers, behind the scenes etc.
