My patience is wearing thin. I cancelled my pre-orders elsewhere and ordered the offer Arrow put up the other day instead. I hope they send out the other releases first instead of holding them back.

Arrow should be furious with the manufacturer as the cock up has delayed the release date by a further fortnight for something which is, again, completely out of their control.

Unfortunately, Paul is right.

I've just spoken with Arrow who are absolutely, understandably, fuming.

Their manufacturing plant have accidentally packed the Limited Edition with DVD Disc 1 of the Dual Format edition meaning this is essentially another Dual Format Edition. They are recalling the stock and the manufacturers are sorting it out but it will mean another delay.

They are not sure why their manufacturers have made so many mistakes lately but fans should rest assured this will be raised as highly important points.

As Arrow have leapt into action as soon as they have heard about this, no incorrect stock should make it to retailers so you shouldn't worry about accidentally receiving one of these copies.

Hopefully correct stock should be with retailers for 4 June but watch this space.

Arrow can only apologise for this. They're as fed up with these delays - which are beyond their control - as you you all are and can only thank you all for bearing with them.

Same here; very strange. I don't see why they wouldn't do a replacement programme like they did with The Beyond though

I've just emailed this info over to Arrow. They thought they would be in enough time to stop discs being posted out but looks like HMV were quick off the mark. Will see what Arrow have to say.

Fingers crossed other retailers will get the recall notice before they send out pre-orders.

If anyone else has ordered from a retailer other than HMV and they've had a dispatch email, please let me know here.

Looks like all the limited editions are causing a lot of problems for arrow. But they will be worth it.

Update from Arrow on Facebook:

Hopefully HMV can cut the orders off before they actually go out, they have received an instruction to send stock back so they know the score. We will see but either way of course we will replace discs, either through us direct or through our manufacturer, this won’t be ignored.

If, as I understand it, the extras DVD has been replaced by the DVD of the film from the Dual Format then I hope it arrives from HMV and I can just go through the replacement programme - at least I still get to watch the film this weekend in HD (and peruse the booklet/art etc). Shame on having to wait for the extras but something is better than nothing

yep, HMV have said that they have shipped my copy of house by the cemetary so does anyone know what arrow will do to replace the copys?
