Problems with disks in steelbook.

You could try this, insert a blank FAT/32 formated usb stick in the front usb socket(assuming it has one) and then inserting the disc. Seen this posted a couple of times as a fix for disc-stop, a long shot I know but worth a shot.

FOUND THE FIX! whenever you hit a black screen, just press the "frame skip/advance" button, NOT the chapter skip, but the one one next to it that allows you to move forward 2x, 4x and so on...!!

Tried demons bluray steelbook and both discs work fine.
Still waiting on dpod replacement disc. Is anyone else still waiting. Hope

Thanks! This really seems to be a specific problem of Samsung players.

Could some more owners of the Demons Blu-ray steelbook post if they were able to play the discs on their respective player? That would be great!

When you get to the black screen after the arrow showreel, press the fast forward button, then leave it for a second or two to "skip forward" a few frames, then it will move to the next chapter ! You have to do this once more once you select play from the main menu.

This works on a SAMSUNG BD D5500 player
