Welcome aboard by the way
Didn't I read that eventually, the steelbook will also come without a poster?

Yeah it's only the initial run (except the standard bluray which doesn't have it at all) that have the poster. Not sure how many this is limited to.

Hmmm. This makes me wonder if i should but the steelbook now aswell as the DVD and Slipcase i have got. Or do u guys htink that the DVD and Slipcase is enough unless I want to have all the versions. I was gonna maybe sell the slipcase wont day when it might be worth a whole lot more and then I would still have the DVD to watch.

Are you only buying it to sell on or for your own collection.

If I bought the Steelbook aswell then I would have it for my own collection. What I am kinda worried about is that in the future if I sell my ZFE Slipcase BluRay and only have the DVD copy left then the next tech leap from BluRay player's (perhaps 4K players?) wont be able to play the old DVD format. So if I bought the steelbook I got a BluRay that I can sell and a BluRay that I know is a future proof format for 4K (because as far as I presume 4K players would be able to upscale BluRays, (like BluRay players can upscale DVD) but crucially not standard definition DVD's. The thing is that the steelbook is now, minimally 20 quid and being a student I really dont think I can afford it!

well me for starters. sorry to bring a bit of a downer for everyone but the fact that there has been an authoring fault here and the opening shot of the boat in front of the NYC skyline that open the film has always been there for the 20+ years that i've been watching this film. instead the film just starts halfway with a close up of the side of the boat and the ropes. the fact that Arrow have delivered a top notch transfer and excellent packaging (well done by the way, really impressed) is not a bargining chip here. If it's 6 seconds today, it's 10 seconds on the next release, then 20 seconds on the one after....

We need to let Arrow know so they can investigate it and ensure the issue is rectified for future releases

waiting to see if Arrow are aware of this issue and if they will replace the discs

It bothers me. Hadn't noticed it until it was pointed out to me, now it annoys me. Arrow went to great lengths tomake this the definitive release, and then that happens.
