I'm also curious if it's just the blu-ray that's missing them, since the dvd doesn't include branching of the 3 titles, like what the blu-ray has (my grammer was deliberately bad there).

Ha ha, I wondered how long it would be before someone mentioned this. I never had a problem with the BU edition, still don't in fact

The transfer from Arrow still beats BU's, in spite of the missing 6 seconds. Can't say I'm too bothered about 6 seconds of a boat floating on the water. I've got bigger things to worry about in life at the moment. Although I do think Arrow should offer some explanation.

Arrow's release in terms of PQ is great, but it still could have been
great and totally uncut. So right now for me the BU release wins out.

The Arrow version is by a long way the best version in my opinion - the BU disc although good, looked a bit soft. As for the beginning, I wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't read this thread! It doesn't detract from the Arrow release whatsoever in my book

I doubt it otherwise it would've been removed from the BU edition too

Maybe it was just Arrows decision that they alone felt it had no place in the film so as not to offend or upset?

Better not be. They have no right.
