What Books Have You Bought Recently?

Two great books, loved Joyland especially, nice and short and a great story

Problem is I have so many books that I'm planning on reading before I get onto them.

Generation of Swine (reading right now)
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72
Rum Diary
Let the Right One In
Battle Royale
A Song of Ice and Fire
And then those 2

Bargains and they look like they're in great condition!
I have Joyland waiting on my massive pile of 'To Read' books, my flatmate bought it for me I quite fancy 11.22.63 as well but it's massive, Is it bigger than IT Rik? I loved the mini-series last year!

It's about 850 pages long, doesn't feel like it though. The series was great, pretty close to the novel too

So it's about 'Joyland' size smaller than IT
I'll get hold of a used copy once I've cleared my current pile

I still need to read Finders Keepers and End of Watch.

Yeah, about that. I got it for Xmas whatever year it was published and I'd finished by the day after Boxing Day, probably won't have the same effect because you've seen the series though

I'd leave the bore-athon and go straight to that. Looks far more interesting than dwarves with hairy feet.

I'm reading The Two Towers at the moment and 'Book 3' was a real struggle to get through if I'm quite honest, it's picked up a great deal now I'm on 'Book 4' which is Sam and Frodo being mean to Gollum

I'd give up, but at the start of the year I challenged myself to finally read The Lord of the Rings and now I'm over half way there!
