Anyone into True Murder Cases?

If so I highly Recommend "Scissor Sisters" By Mick McCaffrey, A shockingly detailed trip from The Day of Murder to The Prison life of The MulHall Sisters from Ireland who Murdered Fareh Swaleh Noor in 2005 chucking him in 9 pieces into the Royal Canal.

I also was gripped by "Perfect Poison" By M.William Phelps, about Killer Nurse Kristen Gilbert, again this book takes you from day one to Life I prison on this case.

TRUE Ghost Account Fan?

You can do much worse than Checking out Fortean Times "It Happened to me" Volume 1.

Horror Fans

Teenage Wasteland & Book Of The Dead a History of Zombie Cinema are essentials!

Alan Moore is a creative giant in my eyes and "The Neonomicon" is up there on top of my to read list. Have you tried anything else by him? Even some of his earlier more "frivolous" stuff is very good.

I've only read The Watchmen, which I liked. On my shelves stand TPB of V For Vandetta and The Killing Joke. But the guy has so much more that seem interesting that I want to read. Like the swamp thing, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and From Hell.

Do you have any recommendations?

I'm a big fan of "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" (LXG) and my daughter loves "Swamp Thing". Out of his earlier works "V for Vendetta" is, of course, the more famous but "Skizz" and the very funny "DR & Quinch" from the "2000AD" stable are great. By far the best of his work from the "2000AD" years is "The Ballad of Halo Jones" with art by Ian Gibson. It is also easy to overlook his slice of the Marvel universe with his re-boot of "Captain Britain", That reinvigorated an ailing "fifth-string" superhero!

Good reading all of 'em and if you like the Cthulu mythos then the spin off of LXG, "Nemo: Heart of Ice" is a winner (if a little on the slim side). Enjoy, my friend!

Thanks! I will most certainly look in to that. Ah, so much goodness and so little time.

Just bought and started reading "Promethea" volume 1 TPB by Alan Moore. By the looks of it I will be ordering volume 2 on payday!
