Is that the John Martin Cannibal book?

Philleh 23rd June 2010 05:33 PM

Sure is mate, have you read it?

Splatterdragon73 24th June 2010 01:16 PM

A good read this John Martin tome but isn't there a still from '97's Anaconda in there somewhere by mistake?

All The Dark Side spin-off books cut the mustard imo.;)

There is indeed a still from the film, but I think he mentions it as part of a modern film influenced by the Cannibal cycle. I think! :)

For any forum members here who enjoy a bit of cinematic Bruce Lee imitation then i give a thumbs up to Here Come The Kung Fu Clones by Carl Jones and available from fellow Cult Labs contributor John Overall.

Although the book competently covers the likes of Dragon Lee and Bruce Le, the main focus is on the best of the 'Little Dragon' copycats, Bruce Li. The tome does a good job of giving us an honest insight into this talented but generally unsung martial artist who never truly intended to cash-in on Bruce Lee's popularity.

Affectionately written and nicely illustrated with only a handful of inaccuracies and typos, HCTKFC is well worth a read for Brucesploitation fans.:)

Cool will have to look for a copy soon.
