Tell me about it and there's bound to be a 'Video Nasties' special of TDS sooner or later too imo.

The latest issue of The Dark Side is now on the shelves with some nice interviews and i especially look forward to reading what Zombie Creeping Flesh stalwart Franco Garofalo has to say! There's also an article on Dario Argento's upcoming Dracula 3D but the less said about any new offering from the once-great Giallo guru the better imo.

Right, I'm afraid I'm going to have to whore this out so sorry in advance. For my final major project at uni I'm writing a horror magazine, which is going to be a bit of a struggle as I'm still relatively new to the genre but I like a challenge!
I'd really appreciate it if you could complete my survey, it will help me complete my pitch and get me headed in the right direction.

Horror Film Magazines Survey
Cheers!

They did one of these back in the day

There was also a book which featured the covers (front and back) to all the video nasties. These were full sized reproductions, so you could cut them out, and them use them with your illegal copies of the nasties, to make it look like you had the originals

As well as the covers, each film had a 'review' by Mr. Bryce - the majority of which were done in typical 'Dark Side' style!!!!

Then there was a second 'video nasties' book, which was a more traditional revies thing (i.e it didn't concentrate on the covers). If memory serves, it featured films such as 'A Clockwork Orange', 'Tombs of the Blind Dead', 'Texas Chainsaw' etc!!!
