Thank Cthulhu then. Even at the time I thought "Really?". And I'm a Dennis Cooper fan

Thought i'd edit the thread title.

Stephen King's Number Ones Fans Thread sounded illiterate.

I'll be honest I've only ever read Misery and Carrie but seen a lot of his films. One of my favourite SK films is Rose Red. I think thats such an underrated film. I know there's the book The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer: My Life at Rose Red but I've never read it. Has anyone?

Rose Red is actually a 255 minute mini series rather than a film.

Just in case anyone who hasn't seen it was thinking of buying a copy and settling down for a nice hour and a half's viewing.

I enjoyed Rose Red myself, I bought it last year and gave it a watch for the first time! I've often found that the TV adaptations of SK are better than the theatrical ones.

Agreed.

Storm of the Century is my fave King on celluloid (not an adaptation for a change) of any kind, followed by Needful Things, Christine and Hearts in Atlantis.

So what do i do list my faves of which none are tv adaptations.

I'm getting so excited for this, I hope it's not too long for part 2 but I guess it'll be Halloween after next...
