Always liked this one. They even used it on the UK laserdisc.

Now here's a practical question. Has anyone ever had a film poster framed and put behind glass? If so, how much did it cost?

The locandina size (approx. 15x30 inches) interests me most.

Not posters, but pages from press books

Peter Jackson's 'BrainDead'

Peter Jackson's 'Meet The Feebles'

'Two Evil Eyes'

Yes i have, Prince.

Cost varies really.

I got a standard poster frame made up a few years ago - black edge - at a local framers and it cost £35.

I got a Species II lenticular poster framed in non-reflective glass and it was nearer £200. That would be 20 years ago almost.

Depending on frame quality i'd expect you to be looking at £50 - £100.

Have you seen Allposters? Not to buy but just as a pricing idea. I think they are expensive but it's just something to reference by.

I think you've got to look on a movie poster, especially a genuine one as a piece of art rather than a poster and think where you are going to hang it and the enjoyment you'll get from looking at it.

I'd talk to a local framer if i were you and they'll give you plenty of options, but i hope i've been some help.

Glancing over this post on my phone while drinking my coffee and every time I saw “framer” I read it as “farmer” and thought “What the Hell do farmers know about framing movie posters?!”

As you were

I haven’t seen that film since the BBC Dr Terror double bills in the early 90’s, another one added to the “revisit list”!

How much did an original set you back Dem, bet it wasn’t cheap?
