The snake/bat scene in Last Cannibal World was cut for cinema but left intact on DVD.

The goat killing in Deep River Savages was passed simply because it's a quick kill. They also passed similar footage in Salon Kitty among others.

The killing in Salon Kitty is pointless.

People dont complain about seeing a snake get killed in a film as it was the first known form of the Devil in the Christian Bible.
I remember reading that somewhere, but it probably is'nt true.

I hate to see any animal get killed in a film. There's no need for it.

I think it's more to do with the fact that they don't have a wet nose, fluffy tail and droopy ears dude

Snake killings were originally cut in Bloody Moon, Blood Of Fu Manchu and A Gunfight (among others).

They cut the stabbing of a snake in 99 Women. Thankfully the snake slithered away to safety (with some nasty wounds).

No, that scene was never cut. A snake shooting in Westworld was also passed.
