The snake cut to Bloody Moon was presumably waived recently due to it being a quick kill. It was originally cut by Ferman, who was a law unto himself in these matters.

I watched Westworld again recently and it's quite difficult to see if it was a real snake that was shot. It looks more like a dummy to me though it's not easy to tell for sure, hence the BBFC never cutting it. The shooting in A Gunfight was genuine alas.

Was there a snake killed in The Other Hell, or was it a chicken. ? Either way it wasn't cut by the BBFC.
Theres alot of chicken stuff passed by the BBFC , especially in those 70's / 80's car chase films, some of them AA.

The infamous chicken-crushing scene in Pink Flamingos was also cut in every previous release, though amazingly it was waived for the (cancelled) EIV DVD.

The use of a chicken during the fight scene in Emperor Of The North was cut for the DVD 2 years ago.

Correct. As I said above Kerova's murder was cut in the (unused) Vipco trailer but intact in the Shameless (Argent) one. The cuts were never made. In fact both trailers are quite different.

The edits were very sloppily done on the Vipco video. The Shameless release is far better and the slowing down of some of the reaction shots makes the scene even more chilling.

Good (as in not really noticable) Shameless job on NYR indeed. I usually prefer this to my uncut AWE "restored version", because the added scenes with Dr. Davies don't add much to the plot and only slow the movie down
