Strangest doubler I saw was End of the World (I think it was?) and The Muppet Movie. Most odd. Maybe our local projectionist was also partial to getting stoned..? I was too young to even smoke then.

Talking of double bills..... as some of you were. I remember The Terminator did the rounds with some sleazy women in prison film that was so bad it has always stuck in my head. John Vernon was the prison govenor if I remember correctly, pimping after the young women. I think it was Chained Heat. Did anyone else see this double bill? (It was back in 1984)

Chained Heat is the one.

We'd better get folks. There's a double bill thread here.

I got Night of the Living Dead in Poundland and it was BBFC 18 (2 versions on 1 dvd for £1) but the BluRay NOTLD I got today was BBFC 15.
That musta been downgraded.

The 15 cert is pretty haphazard in Wrestling dvds.
I have a dvd were the 2 wrestlers fight with broken glass glued to bandages on their hands.
This fight ended with both men bleeding badly on their heads and arms and the camera showed the actual cutting and bleeding wounds in close up, and it got a 15 cert , yet i've got Wrestling dvd's that are nowhere near as violent and they're rated 18.

In most of my Wrestling dvd's/Blu's the 15 is just as strong as the 18.

NOTLD was downgraded to a 15 in 2007. The original cinema cuts were restored for the 1980 re-release, and every video/DVD since has been uncut. The curious exception being the Contender CE DVD which bizarrely featured an edited print.

The 18 rated one is the HardGore double film set of NOTLD. (B/W & colourised) My Synergy disc is unrated and the Optimum Blu is 15.

HardGore probably just stuck the 18 on themselves.

My one & only disc of NOTLD is still the old Elite Special Collectors Edition with the orange Kyra Schon cover.
