So many good and bad movies this year, hard to choose!

Best film: Terminator blu. One of the greatest films anyway and a really amazing transfer, it's like watching a whole new movie. Watched this 3 times in 3 days, very rare for me to do something like that.

Maybe not the worst but most dissapointing: Looper
It's so slow, not that much action. Lots of plotholes (as time travel movies do) but this one is very basic. Lots of things that should have happened but did not. Won't go into too much details due to spoilers!
Was expecting action really, not watching JGL sit around on a farm for 90mins.

Best movie I've discovered this year, is a serious toss up between Zombie Flesh Eaters, Demons, Forbidden Zone, Deadly Spawn and the list goes on.

But there were some absolutely great movies in cinemas this year, so I'll stick with those. But then, there was Avengers, Proemtheus, Skyfall, Dredd.... ARGGGGHHH!!!!

That's it! I can't choose, so let's take a random one.

Not a new movie, but just rereleased and dicovered by me, a candidate for the best AND worst movie released and discovered this year is MIAMI CONNECTION!!!

A heart warming, tragic tale of a band of friends and orphaned brothers who practice Tae Kwon Do, play in a kick ass band, and bring down cocaine ninjas, whilst searching for a long lost father, and learning life lessons along the way!!

A truly majestic film!!

Depends films released this year I mean I was pleasantly surprised at Spider-Man
Raid redemption was top notch action

Worst has got to be Paranormal activity 4.
Cosmopolis has got to be a contender slow dull boring worst film by Cronenberg
Cabin in the woods was a huge let down

Best for me is a toss up between Cabin in the Woods, The Amazing Spider-man, The Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus and Killer Joe but seeing as I have to pick one then it's gotta be The Dark Knight Rises, brilliant end to a brilliant trilogy and despite being such a long film, neither me nor my son felt like we were sat in the cinema for over 3 hours.

Worst film I've seen this year has to Children Shouldn't Make Zombie Films With Long Titles, I didn't even make it to the end before I had to turn it off! I'll probably give it another chance some time in the future and hopefully make it to the end. Having said that, it's companion piece on the disc-Deathdream/Dead of Night I did enjoy so the disc wasn't a complete waste of money

Aaaand congratulations to today's lucky winner,

Pedromonkey!

Two excellent reviews there. I'm sure you will love The Baytown Outlaws, Pedro - it's fantastic.

New comp up in a bit...and something else a little later.

Kyle

Congrats Pedromonkey!

(Incidentally I must be the only person who thought Taken 2 was ok. Not great or even close to the first one but perfectly decent)
