How much diferent is this version in comparison with the media blasters release (the re-release actually)?

The Optimum version is approximately PAL 96'36", making it around 103'51" NTSC - obviously it's hard to be exact!

NEW LIZARD BLOG ON MYSPACE

New reviews, a personal look at one man's love of Fulci and a nice article on the films score and others by Morricone.

I checked a bill of materials (provided by the company that authored the disc) for this - usually I'd say that the BBFC is more likely to be exactly accurate as they measure everything, but will check on this and get back...

Update: it turns out that a disc of the film in NTSC was accidentally sent to the BBFC, explaining the runtime discrepency.

The SS version could conceivebly contain company credits that aren't on the Optimum disc. Not having see the disc,I couldn't say for sure but it could be why it seems longer? I guess we'll find out when a comparison is done.
