I'm thinking people are taking the word "glitch" too literally and Kyle just means there's a problem in general and the release shouldn't have gone out as something needed to be added to it

Soooooo

let the speculation that an HD master has been found and the release should have been dual-format begin!
Pete and oaxaca like this.

A dvd-BD package would be fantastic! No reason not to with Kyle already saying the film has been remastered from newly restored from HD material!

It would be great if PaulD's right and we are getting a BD/DVD pack, although I doubt that's the reason - though it would be schweet if it was!

As for those who have received their copy already, Andrew we'll let you know as soon as we have some more details from Shameless for you. Hopefully that wont be too long now.

That could be it as the reverse artwork should have the same title on the front and on the spine.

Would they really go through all this just for that though? Worse things have happened that were never dealt with.

I don't really want to speculate, but as it isn't a problem with the disc, that only leaves the packaging and the mac which have an issue and it could be something so small as the title on the spine of the sleeve. If that is the case, maybe Shameless would be able to send a replacement sleeve to those who, like you, have already received a copy with the 'faulty' sleeve.

It'll be interesting to see what the official word from Shameless HQ is and whether you've spotted the problem.

And would that really take 2-3 weeks to rectify?

Come on release a BD lol

It would involve recalling all the stock from Amazon, Zavvi, Movie Mail etc, removing all the shrinkwrap and sleeves, inserting the new sleeves and then packaging and shrink wrapping them all back up before getting everything back to the online retailers' warehouses. That could take 2-3 weeks.

Of course, all this is just conjecture and speculation because we don't even know if the sleeve is the issue!
