GAME are advertising the 120GB PS3 slim model at £249.00 , with a September launch.

Anyone think its worth trading in a 60GB PS3 for one.?

I got 2 for £30 outta ARGOS and tried to trade Ferrari Challenge but it failed to regestor in any shops system I tried, even though they stocked it.
The front art was different but the disc was the same as the other shops.

Thats the 2nd game bought from argos that I havent been able to trade.

If you're worried about power consumption, then yes.

However the lack of PS2 compatibility and the inability to install a second O/S, whilst not important to most people, has put me off the PS3 Slim.

Nah, im not worried about power consumption , its just every time I go to buy a game now I get badgered into buying one by a certain shops staff.

Though I remember not long ago some guy give me a right bashing because I had a PS3, 360 and 2 hd tv's because of the harm I was doing the planet. LOL

Wonder why they cut the 2nd Op System ability.? I could just find that it wasn't wanted by gamers in a Sony poll.

Any PS3 owner who voted to have the second O/S removed is and idiot and should be treated with the contempt they deserve.

"The ability to turn the PS3 into a fully functioning personal computer? for free? and at the touch of a button? I don't think I'd be interested in that!"

The poll was on potentual buyers in the States.
They also said backwards compat was'nt nessary as well.

The Poll was done by a media group last year on things that those polled thought buyers would happyly do without if it ment a PS3 price drop.
