Pulp Fiction came yesterday but won'y play Using the multi-region Tesco player so assuming it's a firmware issue (reluctant to update and risk losing the multi-regio facility). Anyone else had any problems/any ideas (don't have another BD unfortunately)?

Doesn't seem to want to work on mine either, comes up "checking for updates" but then hangs on a black screen.

if you are having problems with Tesco players without any updates then yes that will be the reason why it wont play and other then loosing the multi region hack you cant do anythin else.
