Along with half a dozen DVDs which the postman dropped off at the beginning of his route, the several packages included The Woman and The Guns of Navarone - oh yeah!

The postman came about 20 minutes ago with several packages wrapped together with elastic bands, containing The Cheerleaders, The Man with the Severed Head, Erik the Viking, Island of Lost Souls, Atrocious, The Guns of Navarone BD, The Woman BD and The Cat O' Nine Tails BD.

What a fantastic haul. Envious of opening those packages.

I hope you like The Girl From Rio, one of Franco's cooler films - very stylish. Its almost a companion to his Red Lips movies.

The Nucleus edition of Death Ship is a mighty fine dvd, and a film that improves with each subsequent viewing.

RE- your earlier post.

Dark Waters is a film with a magnificent gothic atmosphere, its fairly slow but when you are in the right mood i'm sure you will rate it pretty highly.

By the way, you really do need a stone amulet edition.

Yeah, a fine selection there.... I must get Death Ship...I keep waiting for it to go down in price but the Nucleus titles don't seem susceptible to sales :(

Messiah of Evil, no exaggeration to say this is one of the great unsung masterpieces of independant American Cinema. Makes for a good midnite double-bill with Carnival of Souls....

I make sure I give our postwoman a big box of Roses come Christmas time.Maybe she'll forgive me her aching back in years to come.During the bad weather last year, she actually gave me a lift up to the depot to fetch a big pile of dvds that was waiting in the backlog:clap:.

He didn't seem too upset when he called - he even made a separate call to deliver the parcels and will probably be back in the next half hour with the rest of the mail!
