Once I got over the initial shock of how much I actually spent and went back to watching the shows I got it was money well spent ( I should of only bought half of what I did and saved it for the next sale.) I look at this way I spend £18 on a boxset that has between 1200-2500 minutes of viewing pleasure is not so bad when you think you are paying about that for a 90 minute movie. |
1 Attachment(s) Thought I'd pick this one up and give it another go (as I'd not seen it in years) which made for a really gripping and still utterly depressing evenings viewing. They really knew how to make some cracking tv dramas back in the day. What's perhaps even more unbelievable is that they actually recorded the program and showed it to us in Geography class in school when I was about 12. Imagine doing that these days. |
3 Attachment(s) Both of these surprisingly cheap. I fully expect DEAD ZONE to get a U.K release now  Watch Z get an Arrow Academy, Eureaka or Artificial eye release. Golgo 13 was £7.93 off a UK seller who was in a bidding war with Zoverstocks. Attachment 177828 Attachment 177829 Attachment 177830 |

Out of curiosity I went online CEX website to see how much I would get, to my surprise I would get £248 which isn't so bad considering the cost was around £299 |

In the cinema (in dolby stereo) this blew me away... however over the years I grew to dislike it and have never owned a copy on any format, but as a Poundland bargain of £1 I really should give it a chance (I remember being in a minority of one in the early 90s when this would be discussed, just went off it somehow) http://i65.tinypic.com/o88owh.jpg |

What Have You Bought Recently? Quote:
I have no interest in watching the bonus films on Arrow's release again, and can live without the Hooper interview or featurette. on that one either, so off it goes. :) |
