I never even bothered this year, apart from a small number of records it seemed like a lot of reissue things that you can probably pick up the originals of for less money.

And a load of pictures discs... bluegh.

yeah i was after one but the early nerds got them

My deliveries plus a few freebies from the last couple of weeks.

plasterface 16th April 2016 03:49 PM

new stuff

from record store day, greedy prices this year, bee gees/faith no more i started a joke 7 inch and iron maiden empire of the clouds 12 inch.

from hmv the gloriously sleazy craze arrived on dvd a week late, and in the 2 for ten pound dvd offer the owlman aka lord of tears watchig at the mo not sure what i make of it. And red, white and blue a great but grim little film.

The NOTLD from Umbrella isn't blue (TT has a blue tint over the image for ...reasons) and costs about a tenner less.

Got this from British heart foundation today. £5.99

Yeah, as Keirarts says, no blue filter like the TT disc or missing sound effects at the end of the film. Plus, it has all the features from the dvd and around an hour of new interviews. Not bad for £13. Oh, plus that nice artwork that's more or less the original poster.

In that case, and especially because I don't have the DVD, it's probably worth a double-dip. Is there a standard shipping rate or is it better to buy multiple items to justify the postage costs?

Not sure about other shipping options, but it was just under £13 including the shipping, which surprised me.

platostotal 17th April 2016 04:49 PM

I'm having problems changing the country on the JB Hi-Fi website. It's set to Australia and, when I click on 'change', it jumps back to the homepage. Has this happened to anyone else and, if so, how did you get round it?

Edit: Doesn't matter – I was missing a drop-down menu. Doh!

Stephen@Cult Labs 17th April 2016 11:02 PM

Watching the Australian Night Of The Living Dead '90 disc just now, and there's absolutely, no natural grain in it at all. It's a dated master, and the grain isnt natural at all. And you know what? It doesn't bother me in the slightest. Having the original colour grading is a lot better.

Yep I saw the new artwork a few weeks ago so just canceled my order and got the standard edition from HMV

monkeypedro 18th April 2016 07:10 AM

I had the Star Wars steelbook on preorder from Zavvi but after seeing the final artwork last month i decided to cancel my order. Also for the price i would have expected the 3D version to be also included.

Nordicdusk 18th April 2016 07:14 AM

I should of looked it up the first time I saw it was when it came this morning the inside is nice but that's little comfort . It cost me €35 I expected something much much better

Back and inside images are much better than the front i think the picture of Kylo Ren would lok much better without the lightsaber it really looks out of place oh well nothing i can do now. Just checking the film looks amazing yes sir. By the way how dare you accuse me of sitting naked on your couch that one time ;)

There not out for months and HMV don't take money until dispatch so I don't feel do bad. Depending on the final artwork I might cancel my order

How much more expensive are they than the complete series box set they just announced?

Too be honest I not heard of them until I saw them on HMV' s site but looking at some reviews and the trailer, I don't think I want it now

purchases

popped in asda, got for the following dvds 3 pound each, eighties grimfest Rita , Sue and Bob too. The mechanic, only seen the dull remake. and i survived a zombie holocaust which i am sure was full price a few weeks ago , it says on cover voted number one film at frightfest, must have been a bad year. A waste of 3 pound. Did'nt bother with force awakens thought it was crap.

It doesn't look terrible but the box art is misleading! I thought it was anime.
