Already posted this in the upcoming non-UK thread but as it's pretty big news and everyone has been wondering, my copy of Evil Dead 2 just arrived and i've tested it...unfortunately your worst fears are true, it is indeed Region A locked. Sorry guys

Just ordered this limited edition 6 disc 30th Anniversary Star Wars trilogy tin...only released in Japan. Not sure how much it's limited to but it's definitely out of print!
I was thinking about getting the Blu-Ray trilogy, Decided to get this instead!
(Probably eventually get the Blu-Ray also though)

Very nice and it's got the original theatrical versions as well which makes it better than the bd's imho.

It's actually both!
It doesn't have any special features (So i'll be keeping my old 2-disc DVD's with special features)
Three discs for Original theatrical and three discs for restored/remastered!

Mine arrived also, yay. I hope my grouchy Technika plays it ok, the extras on Return of the Living Dead only play in a small section in the top left of the screen. Would be pretty annoyed if the same happened with this.
Christmas soon, I think I'm going to have to pick up a decent multiregion player.

I thoughtit was just my player at fault when it did that.

Flatly refuses to play T2 (skynet edition) and Daybreakers too. Still, only cost £40. Must get a decent region A player.
