Student loan arrived in my bank yesterday, so I ordered a few films I've been meaning to see for a while -

Cabin Fever
Casino
Children Of Men
Departed
Eastern Promises
Frozen

I also just ordered the Fernando Di Leo boxset from Raro, I don't know much about the films but at just over £16 I thought it would be worth a go.

Including the films in the Fernando Di Leo box set, that's an excellent selection of movies and you shouldn't be disappointed with any of them.

If you really like The Departed – which you probably will – you should probably buy the Infernal Affairs trilogy (the films on which The Departed was based). They've been on my 'to watch' list for a while (I have them on DVD and BD) and they are fantastic films.

Thank you, but please don't forget that for every trip when I find something good like this, there are probably 10 trips when I come away empty handed

The mail has just been with the OOP R1 Paramount Let's Scare Jessica to Death DVD. I haven't seen the film but, as it was on the Time Out list of the 50 Greatest Horror Films, I have high expectations.

Shame the director John D Hancock was sacked from Jaws 2,his version could've been interesting.I think people who like films like Messiah Of Evil will enjoy Lets Scare Jessica To Death. Both have a similar creepy atmosphere.

Bought a couple of Terminator dvds from ebay. The first R1 dvd with the original artwork, and the first MGM special edition with holographic cover.
