anyone know if the awe print of Torso mesures up to the shamless one? and is it worth buying the BU dvd aswell?

Utterly agree. I aim to watch 1.11 at least once a month. Best BD for animation out there. I also like the over all feel of this revamped movie series. Much less pouty and down beat than the series, which was the one thing that really bugged me about what could have been an amazing show.

I mainly bought it BECAUSE it was Eureka 7 on Blu-Ray.
I agree that the movie was mostly re-hashed material from the series but at least it should look stunning in HD.
