Hey D,

I got this today.

Robocop is a 25GB disk and the sequels are 50GB disks.

Robocop looks a bit dark and gloomy and perhaps not as razor-sharp as you'd hope, but ultimately it's just fine. The other two seem to be perfect modern transfers.

For between £9 and £11 it's a bargain and a must buy.

They were the only Anthony Mann ones sadly, but there were about 10 different Universal Westerns - your Glenn Ford, Rock Hudson type programmers mostly - for £3 each. The War Wagon, Joe Kidd, The Man From Alamo...that kind of thing.

Thanks for that.

I've already got about 150 American westerns so i doubt there would be anything new from what you mentioned.

I know this doesn't belong here but this set is for sale on Amazon marketplace brand new delivered at £4.69.

Three top films, well worth it in my opinion.

After a failed attempt at going multi-region before, I have decided to give it a go once more. I managed to get a US Sony BDP-S1, the first model Sony made, for £40. Has optical out, runs fine without a stepdown converter, and the firmware is still updated fairly regularly. It's a little old and can take a while to load, but the build quality is amazing and I've been impressed by the picture.
So far I've picked up Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, American Psycho, House and Videodrome. Need to get me some more A-locked titles.
Gojirosan and oaxaca like this.
