Started working my way through the Universal set with Dracula. I'm not a fan of Lugosi's Dracula, but I do agree it was very influential.

Interestingly, there's a nice piece on the restoration of the movie. One of the guys interviewed basically said he wanted the viewers to think that they ( the restoration team ) were "never there" - ie restoring it to its original state without interfering in the presentation. And they have done a beautiful job. Hammer, take note.

I wish everyone would stop saying how awesome this set is, still haven't had mine from Sainsbury's, but they're "looking into it" :(:(:(:(:(:cry::cry::cry:

If I don't here owt from them, or receive it tomorrow, then I'm cancelling my order and going elsewhere, this is the first time I've had any issue with them, which is why I tend to buy from them regularly :mmph:

I still haven't got round to buying a copy. Can't quite bring myself to spend that much cash.
