Just got Otto Preminger's superb Bunny Lake is Missing for £4 on amazon. Was gonna get it from hmv this afternoon. Spent about 15 minutes in there trying to remember the title, searching the shelves for The Death of Bunny Munro, before I remembered that was a book by Nick Cave and not a film . . .

I bought the Bronx Warriors trilogy in HMV today - not the fancy tin, just the separate editions. Came to around £14 which seems a decent price.

Indeed, considering HMV Oxford Street were charging £15 for TBW alone last time I was in there!

I managed to find some time for some late night shopping yesterday and came home with

Bad Meat (blu-ray)
Midnight Son (blu-ray) - I decided to give this one a chance following Frankie Tear Drops positive review.
Vengeance (blu-ray) - the cover claims English dialogue and for 4 Euros I decided to give it a chance
Nighthawks (blu-ray) - I seem to remember seeing this on VHS back in the day and at 4 Euros I couldn't resist.

I bought that same version a few months ago as a blind buy. It was only £4.99 second-hand!!! A few days later found out it was a video nasty. It's a really good film. No idea why it made the list, maybe something to do with the burning scene at the start?

I bought Bunny Lake is missing for my mum a few months back. I decided to watch it before her and I loved it, my dad didn't and it was the film my mum remembered. She also really liked it. Highly recommended!
