I know, deadly... I really fell behind on my Masters of Cinema collection. Never enough cashflow, not enough time, the usual complaints. John Peel used to say that the current year was always the best year for music and I feel that about DVD - 2013 has been an incredible year for home cinema, but I missed an awful lot of it...

Yeah Wes is helpful, but you ain't going to buy a film because it has a great score.

I have a PS4 a holiday a concert and Xmas all to be paid for so sadly films are coming in few and far between. Lucky to come across Oldboy steelbook cheap otherwise there would be nothing this week.

I'm not afraid to say that Lifeforce is one of my absolute favourite sci-fi films, easily in my Top 50.

Sigur Ros my girlfriend loves them she always wanted to see them live. I have some of the albums but i must admit im not sure how much i will enjoy it live. But im doing it for the lady.

Also SATYRICON are playing a few days before so im bloody distracted now knowing i cant see that gig and a few weeks later Shining are playing
