I have quite a lot of stuff coming this week, so thought I better get around to posting these. A couple of things from the Arrow sale and a couple of contemporary horror films for my October marathon. Eureka are killing it with the MoC line. Caligari being one of my all time favourite films, and Madame Durbarry I have never seen, but it's Lubitsch and it's silent, I can't imagine disliking it. Arrow's Academy line is also going from strength to strength, love Dassin's stuff. And finally, The Innocents from Criterion. I could not wait for a B&N sale to pick up this gem. I was fortunate enough to see it on the big screen early this year, thanks to the BFI's Gothic season. |
