To tide me over until the inevitable Criterion upgrade, this now completes my Wes Anderson Blu-ray collection.

No horror, but I bought the complete series of Alias and Season One (the only season) of John From Cincinnati (or Deadwood killer as I like to call it). The latter only cost me £3 from cex.

I loved Alias.

One of the great US series.

I've only seen the odd episode here and there, but I enjoyed what I seen. I'll dive in after I finish my rerun of The X Files.

Series one it finds it's feet, however it really takes off after that.

The quality really drops off after season three though.

Perhaps in the final season, however i really liked it all. It did reach the end though i agree and wasn't as gripping.

It didn't help that Garner was pregnant during filming of the final season and had to be shown from the neck up half the time.

Been skint recently but these were in a local secondhand shop for £1 each so couldn't resist.

Love this film, pity the sequels aren't up to the same standard.

Haven't seen either of these but from stuff i've read they both sound to be worth a watch.:pop2:
