My other half bought me a gift, it's not my birthday or anything but she said it was on ebay and not many turn up so i could have it now, i am honestly blown away and love it!

We also picked up the Blu-Ray of the last Hobbit movie, mainly because we have a load of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit LEGO and we fancy watching the first two extended cuts and the last film at the weekend I will upgrade to the extended cut when it comes out. Finally we picked up tickets to see the Mad Max 1 and 2 film doublebill at our Showcase, and we have an insider card so instead of £9+ each we got both tickets to see both films for under £7! i can't wait to see Mad Max on the big screen!

I've heard its a new transfer from Criterion. As I said the UK blu looks phenomenal so i'm interested to see if this tops it. Will definitely post something when I know.

Just to let you know that there was an error on the initial Criterion release revolving a round a fade to black/white (I think that was it anyway) and they ran a disc replacement programme for it. I've been holding off on this release purposefully so I get a corrected release.

Arrived this morning from Movietyme. I'm guessing they had a few copies at their UK warehouse (or office), as it was only sent yesterday.

Yes. But the first time i watched it i found Ben Kingsley and his f's,c's, and every other strong swear word a second, really annoying.

It is very good on subsequent viewings.
