I'm just not a fan of the style personally. I assume it's the same artist that did the covers for The Ox Bow Incident, The Train, The Naked City and Blood Bath(?). Thankfully Arrow give the choice to reverse.

Same here, and I found it improves with repeated viewings due to the different layers and interpretations which can be found – that's a rarity in films, particularly in the horror genre.
