Great film, one of Van Damme's best IMO, and it was co-produced by the great Sam Raimi & Rob Tapert so what's not to like, you sir are the one that's

Oh, it's a decent enough film. Just not my cup of tea. Wouldn't have thought it was worthy of the BD upgrade. Might check it out again one day.

For me timecop is up there with the other raimi/tapert co-production HARD TARGET. One of john woo's best US movies.

Definately worth the BD upgrade. The dvd isn't too hot, or do you mean not worthy as a film to have a BD? I pray Sudden Death gets a release in the not too distant future. The dvd is terrible.

Paul@TheOverlook 5th August 2012 05:20 PM

Pray? :D It is a fun film :)

How much was that Jurassic set, btw?

antmumford 5th August 2012 08:19 PM

You only watch Monsters Inc. when you're drunk right?

bdc 6th August 2012 01:52 PM

Today I received this long awaited little sleaze gem... :)

It's the US dvd btw as the HK Mei Ah dvd proved very difficult to find but I know World Video also made their own versions of Mei Ah laserdiscs so I guess they used the Mei Ah master for their dvd as well.

Trilogy of Lust 2 (1996) (World Video & Supply)

Never so far. I don't like being drunk when I watch films that good.

Actually, I'm not that fond of being drunk and watching films much at all these days.

I tend to watch films at home whilst alone. And I hardly ever drink at home whilst alone.

Went into town today and came away with the following for the grand sum of £19

(annoyingly That's Entertainment, where I picked up the DC animated films also had Batman: Year One and Under The Red Hood in their 3 for £10 and 2 for £5 deals respectively which would have been great had I not picked them up in HMV a few weeks earlier)

Refused 7th August 2012 12:07 AM

I want so many of those!

Gojirosan 7th August 2012 11:40 AM

Ordered a very cheap second hand copy of the R2 Mosiac release of Dick Maas's Do Not Disturb and it arrived this morning.

It is an ex-rental copy, the case was scuffed and has had stickers pried off, the cover was faded and the top of the disk itself was scuffed and grubby...groaning I turned over the DVD...

...the playing surface is immaculate!

Hawkmonger 7th August 2012 12:02 PM

Still no Midnight Movies. Getting a tad worried.:peep:

If that is the UK set then one of the episodes was cut by the BBFC. The US DVDs are uncut.

Hey folks I'm selling a few goodies on e-bay just now (garnering funds for a Criterion blu ray splurge) including a Code Red copy of Nightmare. Zombie 1968 is my user name - will be more on soon.
