Yes, that's the one. It's absolutely harrowing.

Although Executions is clearly a shockumentary, it does genuinely seem intended to educate and inform through it's horrifying real footage. I would class it with The Killing Of America rather than the likes of Traces Of Death.

Broke my promise of not ordering anything anymore because I needed to reach the minimum amount for free postage (to Belgium) at Amazon UK...I ordered a replacement battery and card reader for my "new" camera...so had to order another dvd... ;)

This will really be my last order this year though.

I own the sequel but was annoyed when I found out that it's cut. The BBFC website says "Cuts required to remove (1) lingering and close-up details of man being shot repeatedly, his death throes and his mutilated face, (2) entire scene of bloodily wounded man virtually torn in half at waist, and (3) entire scene of two restrained and conscious men having their hands sawn off at wrist. These are in accordance with the Video Recordings Act 1984 (harm to potential viewers or to society through the depiction of mutilation, torture or acts of gross violence towards humans) and BBFC policy (encouraging callousness towards victims and taking pleasure in pain)."

Want to see those bits but have no idea where you can get an uncut version from.

I don't know how many times I've said that or something similar ("I won't buy anything else this month") only to buy a DVD or BD a few days later.

I'm pretty sure everyone here is an addict but doesn't really want to do anything to stop spontaneous purchases from happening!

Also picked this up at work yesterday (2,50 Euro):

Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera

Seems to be working fine and came boxed with everything (including a Photoshop disc) but no software/drivers disc and only an Italian manual.
Already found an English pdf manual and all necessary software/drivers at the US Cannon site. :)

The battery pack needs a replacement though,I'll probably replace it with a Duracell replacement battery (seems they're even better than the original Canon ones).
So another 15 Euro and I'm ready to go.

I also can make small movies with this camera btw.

What made you just order Mission Galactica Bdc?

The whole series is excellent and well worth picking up.

Sobral 7th December 2012 01:49 PM

Got these today, from a Secret Santa trade I did on another forum :)

I really don't have the time to watch the whole series again...with work and lots of other things going on I try to avoid buying series (there are a few exceptions like the original Star Trek,The Avengers (mostly Diana Rigg)/New Avengers and The Addams Family because I love those and maybe a couple more I've purchased)...

I already owned the dvd pictured below and really enjoyed it so decided to get the other theatrical film (Mission Galactica) which doesn't seem to be available on dvd over here. ;)

Thought i'd give it a go if only for colossus of rhodes, Sergio leones first film. The dvd has a christopher frayling commentary track.

Howard Hawks land of the pharaohs and The prodigal sound interesting as well.

There's also a third theatrical which I can't remember the name of, but its a number of cobbled together episodes from the Galactica 1980 series.

I think it was Conquest Of Earth, which was Galactica Discovers Earth, and The Night The Cylons Landed edited together.

I was about to place an order with Network dvd but noticed they mess about and direct you to other sites for your payment.

Just wondering have other purchasers had any problems with this or has it all run smoothly.?

If its hassle i can't be bothered with it.

I've bought from them a fair few times. No bother whatsoever. The procedure is identical to purchasing from Arrow.

Popped out for some Gluehwein at the Christmas market last night and on the way popped into the my favourite shop to pick up the German Steelbook (Blu) of Baytown Outlaws and the Blu of the Pusher remake which I missed at the cinema. I also expect deliveries of the Shameless ZFE and Troma's Fathers Day when the postman calls later.

I will be on my travels tomorrow, so hope to pick up a few bits and pieces in Bristol (and perhaps at Schipol).

My Network order turned up all ready!

http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2...an/netdisk.jpg

They also included the excellent Children Of The Stones, which I didn't order. No idea of it was a mistake or some freebie promotion thing.

Anyway, I all ready have it! Anyone want a trade?

This came this morning

Now I'm just waiting on the other 275 films that I ordered direct from the Arrow website last Friday and Saturday!

I'm still waiting too, ordered on that Friday, I can see payment went out on the 3rd. I've never ordered directly from them before, does anyone know how long you can usually expect to wait?

Rik 8th December 2012 02:29 PM

I pre-ordered the LE Slipcase of ZFE on the 8th August, exactly 4 months ago and I'm still waiting for it, even though I was told it shipped on Tuesday! I'm starting to think that it's not being delivered by Royal Fail, but one of Fulci's shambling clay-faced zombies, slowly shuffling it's way up the country, stopping every now and then for a spot of lunch!

Got Bad Boys and Goldeneye play.com steelbooks today. The debossing on Goldeneye is a mice touch. I really don't know what's been going on lately though, that's my last 4 steelbooks had zero scratches. This can't last!
