Two today. Both UK dvds. The Vital Spark (this being the remnants of what was filmed, see it's not just the Doctor who got "lost":rolleyes::rolleyes:) Ahem. Scooby Doo & The Loch Ness Monster Yes, I will buy anything with Nessie in it :loveeyes::laugh: £2 all in. Both in excellent condition. |

We get a lot of kids dvds tbh, most are effed beyond repair :nod: Noticed Casey Kasem was in it, so grabbed it. :pop2: |
Hellraiser 2022 UK dvd and Scream 2 4K UHD/blu-ray set arrived. Would have been happy with a remastered 1080p copy of Scream 2 but I'd given up waiting for one to turn up. Plus it was a good price. There's a current £5 off £15 offer on Amazon and I had a free prime trial for an eligible account. Link to offer: https://www.amazon.co.uk/b?node=2277...g=bluraycom-21 Offer meant that I was charged £9.50 for the 4K UHD and £4 for the dvd, I'm happy with that. btw Hellraiser 2022 looks pretty good for a dvd, pleased to have a physical copy for my collection. |
1 Attachment(s) New arrivals this week. Pig Killer on dvd was from Asda. Whilst Bad Santa 2 is a Christmas film i've never seen and one to watch in December.. |

A couple from Amazon. Has anyone seen this Gwar documentary? It’s really good! I watched it on Shudder last year. Judas Priest from music magpie https://i.ibb.co/mSjbNqS/IMG-2567.jpg https://i.ibb.co/8MZhYMk/IMG-2568.jpg |
Yes, the GWAR thing is fun.:nod: |

2 Attachment(s) This week's new arrivals. The first two were lovely birthday gifts. |
|
A UK blu-ray of Tobe Hooper's The Funhouse arrived. Whilst I do like the film, I'm not a rabid fan so I was happy just paying a tenner in an Arrow sale. Bit of a result that Arrow re-issued it at the end of September. Had a sneak peek and considering that it's an older Arrow title, the PQ looks good. Should be a fun film to revisit. :) |
4 Attachment(s) The first 2 pics are all from Missing Records in Glasgow. Saw on Facebook that all their dvds and blu rays were half price so thought I'd go in and have a look. Got the Once Upon A Time In America soundtrack for 2 quid and thought it felt a bit heavy and found the Very Best of Ennio Morriconne CD under the disc. All in the Missing stuff came to £25. The ones out of cex didn't cost me anything cos I had a voucher left from my birthday. And I thought I'd just get Clerks 3 seeing as how it was only 8 quid. And I got the region 1 DVD of The Terminator cos the gunshots sound shit on the 5.1 track on the UK disc. HMV on Argyle St is very disappointing now. Their film section isn't as big as it used to be. Haul btw. Jam, Get The Horn and Sidebottom :hail: Much hilarity. |
2 Attachment(s) Got Umbrella's 4K release of Razorback yesterday, and all I could think was how Andy would've loved this one. Attachment 248666 Attachment 248667 |

I bought 4 dvds from Music Magpie for 8 quid. They are: Cable Guy 1996. I like this Jim Carrey film. The title character is deranged. Trading Places 1983. This was a video shop favourite back in the day. I think it's funny. Absolute Power 1997. Clint Eastwood abseiling down a mansion wasn't overly convincing but still enjoyable. Romancing the Stone 1984. Another video shop favourite with Mike Douglas, Kathy Turner and Danny Devito. All good fun. |

Kudos!! Enjoy!!! Picked up The Sorrow & The Pity. UK 2dvd, 50p! |
Spent fifteen pounds on a second hand UK blu-ray of Amer and a new UK dvd of The Strange Colour of Your Body's Tears. Both arrived today, am going to put them both in a two disc blu-ray case with Tears as a bonus disc for Amer (btw Tears does look quite good considering it's only a dvd). |
1 Attachment(s) First pick up for a little while. A CEX find this afternoon. Piranha, the now OOP Second Sight release. Attachment 248721 Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk |
1 Attachment(s) A Cex credit purchase. It was quite expensive at £8 but it's one i 100% want to watch over Christmas so although it's only a couple of pounds cheaper than Amazon's price at least i'm not paying money for it. Plus it has a slip as well. |
Picked up a 2dvd set of L.A. Confidential (UK). £1. Immaculate. |

It has the tv pilot on the second disc, which I do not remember ahem. |

The dvd i had was a snapper case version. Quite nice actually, the way it folded out. I was never against those snapper cases like some were. |
I'll keep you posted then. Like everything else, if you look after things, they do their job ahem (cases) |
1 Attachment(s) A couple from the Air Ambulance shop. Escape Plan is a solid enough actioner that i'm happy to upgrade for a quid, especially with it's lenticular slipcase, whilst Revolutionary Road is a blind buy. Good cast though. |

2 Attachment(s) Indian jones boxset as a stocking filler for the wife at Xmas, there was 2 one was a slim case with all 4 films in and then this thicker one with all 4 and extra disc with extras etc, this was £8 the other was £11 so no brainer which one to get, And suture I’ve never heard of but it’s an arrow disc for £3 so I thought why not. |
1 Attachment(s) A couple more from the local Air Ambulance shop. £1 each. Outlander has a nice lenticular slip case. I was told they've had a box of discs delivered today which they'll put out tomorrow so i'll see what they have. Probably all dvds but you never know. |
Picked up a sealed UK dvd of Halloween At Aunt Ethel's. From the blurb on the back, I'm hoping tis a reimagining of the schlockfest Crazy Fat Ethel :laugh: Which would be nice. £1. |
