I could have picked up a copy of The Magus yesterday for you from Fopp as it is only £6 even though only came out a few weeks ago.

I bought a blu-ray from Poundland. The Giver with Jeff Bridges & Meryl Streep. No idea if it's any good but at that price, is hard to go wrong. A spare case is handy if I hate the film.

I really enjoyed The Ward.

I seem to be on my own though.

Bought Hex and The Ninth Configuration as blind buys today. What are your opinions on these people?

I need to watch Hex more in order to form a full opinion as I really enjoyed it the first time, but I have seen The Ninth Configuration numerous times, including a couple of occasions with the Blatty/Kermode commentary (and have read both versions of the novel on which it is based) and think it is a minor masterpiece.
